Hyperfish is now more powerful than ever before. LiveTiles has released new functionality into the employee data management and auto org chart that form part of the Wizdom Intelligent Intranet, and it’s available in all production environments.
Here are the new updates
WebParts in Product
This adds the Org Chart and Live Directory web parts, as standard components into the Hyperfish application. This means that you can navigate to dedicated pages for these web parts directly from the Profile Update page you use to view and update your profile details. Making this available means you don’t have to go to your intranet to use these components.
You can now use Hyperfish outside your intranet. This additional functionality allows administrators to configure the Org Chart and Live Directory web parts as embeddable snippets for use outside of a SharePoint environment.
A new Editor user role has been created due to customer requests. Users assigned to this role will have the ability to edit other users’ profiles. This will typically be used by the HR team in an organization, who can update profiles on behalf of the user. The role is assigned in the Settings>General section. Once assigned to a particular user, they can access it from the profile drop-down on the Profile Update page by clicking on the User List link.
There is also an update to attribute fields that are set as URLs. These fields will now render as hyperlinks for a more seamless user experience.
