LiveTiles Page Designer for Azure Update: October 9, 2019

This week’s LiveTiles product release notes for Page Designer for Azure includes one new feature, one new improvement, two bug fixes, and some internal back-end changes.

New Features

Documents Tile – Sharing CapabilityThe Documents Tile has received another addition, this time around sharing content. When viewing the Documents Tile on an end user view, hovering over an item and clicking on the ellipsis will have a Share option. By clicking Share, options can be selected for sharing a link, setting whether or not the share link expires, enabling or disabling downloads, and as an administrator, the ability to remove all shares on an item. When a user visits the share link, they’ll be taken to a public preview page of the content that was shared.

Improvements

Import/ExportThe Import/Export functionality on the LiveTiles Landing Page has been improved to use our asset bundling packages. Old versions of exports can still be imported, but new exports will create a bundled package of the content.

Bug Fixes

Email Invites and White SpacePreviously, if there was any white space after an email address when sending an invite, the email invite wouldn’t be sent and would silently fail. This has been fixed.
Email for Corrected UserFixed an issue where admin emails were not being sent to users who were removed from an organization, then added again under another email account.
